This year our local group of churches will host even more church weddings and church wedding blessings than ever. This bucks the national trend, as most seek out hotels, castles and even boats. But why are we locally so joyfully busy? It is because we warmly welcome all enquiries, and want to make a wedding personal and memorable for the couple. Churches are special places and there are some things about a church wedding that you just cannot get anywhere else.
- A church wedding adds a spiritual dimension to a marriage. The ceremony includes God and looks to Him for help and guidance. God's blessing is the main attraction for many couples, whatever their beliefs. In church it is marriage in the eyes of God, which makes the commitment so much stronger.

God is in at the start of a couple's life together and our church are there for them to support them in married life together.
