Teas will be served in the Village Hall on the Open Gardens Sunday, April 1st. We would welcome home-made cakes etc for this event and people to help with serving teas from 2pm onwards, so please let Anne know if you are able to assist and a rota will be drawn up.

The Mareway Group of Churches, of Hasligfield, Barton, Harlton, Great and Little Eversden, of the Lordsbridge Team Ministry, embark on a journey.
This year we are joined by Sister Sue, a senior Sister of the Community of St Francis (CSF). She is looking forward to sharing our stories and we invite all of you to join her at a Welcome Reception and a 'Songs of Praise' at Haslingfield Parish Church at 5pm on Palm Sunday, 1st April.
"Rich Inheritance – Jesus' Legacy of Love" – Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm in the Baptist Church
Jesus didn't write a will. He left no written instructions. He didn't seem to have a plan. At the end, as he hung dying on the cross, almost all of his followers had abandoned him. By most worldly estimates his ministry was a failure. Nevertheless, Jesus' message of reconciliation with God lived on. It is the central message of the Bible. With this good news his disciples changed the world. How did they do it? This course addresses these questions in five sessions: An empty tomb; A group of people; A story; A power; A meal.
St Peter's Church will be running a Tombola and Children's Bran Tub at this event on June 4th. If you have suitable unwanted items for the Tombola please give them to Anne Coulson, and Bran Tub items to Ruth Barnes. We are asking in good time to give you plenty of weeks to collect … ! This will also mean that the Bran Tub items can be wrapped as they come in.
This will be held on Monday 26th March in the School. The Financial Statement and Annual Report will be distributed beforehand to those who are on the electoral roll.
During Lent we will be joining our Baptist friends for a course entitled Rich Inheritance. These sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm in the Baptist Church. There may be other events during Lent so please watch for details.
